Hi everyone,

I am currently using a free tuner from http://www.mintuner.com/
I am trying to tune it up for tenor saxophone, can any one help me with this?

this program need to set the hz of the Middle A
440 will be the general frequency of the C key instruments
(ref: http://www.music.vt.edu/musicdictionary/texta/A.html )

for tenor saxphone the key is B♭
that means play the Middle C will be in B♭
the key is lower from C -> B -> B♭

when playing A will become F#
so just input the frequency of F# which is 369.99( ref: http://www.music.vt.edu/musicdictionary/textf/F-sharp.html )
you may try to play the C of your tenor saxphone to see if the tuner display C also

here is another tuner program which more easy to setup

just select which key of your instruments play the 440Hz frequency
so you can play the key let see which note will the tuner display A4
then select that note everything will be fine
